UK rental company Central Crane Hire has taken delivery of a new 60 tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain crane.
The three axle crane is equipped with a six section 48 metre boom, topped by a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension which takes the maximum tip height to more than 67 metres, while also offering up to 40 degrees of offset. The crane can carry all its 12.8 tonnes of counterweight within the UK’s STGO regulations, which allow axle loads of up to 16.5 tonnes.
Other features include Liebherr’s ECOmode and ECOdrive systems to help improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions as way as VarioBase variable outrigger set up and monitoring.
Central Crane Hire directors Jamie Chan and Sarah Hamilton said: “We are excited to be adding this new crane to the other six Liebherrs in our fleet. Our customers have high expectations of the service we provide, therefore we need high quality, high performance reliable cranes.”
Established in 1987, Central Crane Hire is based in Hull and operates throughout Yorkshire with a fleet of All Terrain cranes, ranging from 40 to 200 tonnes.
