Another acquisition for Mollo

Italian rental company Mollo Noleggio has acquired Tuscan rental company Edilservice

Edilservice was established more than 30 years ago and is based in Monteriggioni, just north of Siena. It runs an extensive general rental fleet along with truck mounted and spider lifts, scissor lifts and self-erecting tower cranes as well as alloy scaffold towers. The company will be merged into the Mollo business as its 54th rental centre, and fifth in Tuscany. The deal was completed on Friday.

The Mollo Noleggio announcement said: Acquiring competent and reliable companies with consolidated experience, deeply rooted in their original territory, and sharing the same values that have guided the Mollo group for over 70 years is part of the growth strategy undertaken by the company led by brothers Mauro and Roberto Mollo.”

Established in the 1970s Mollo expanded purely organically until last year when it launched the current acquisition trail which has seen it snap up four companies in addition to the one announced today. They include: Monia Noleggi of Forlì and Parmiani Noleggi in Sondrio made last March, and PMP in Udine in May and Manetta Noleggi in Teramo in July.
