Manitowoc has appointed E-buildway as a Potain dealer for Georgia in order to extend its reach across central Asia.
Based on the north side of Tbilisi, Buildway was established seven years agao as a contractor, but began buying tower cranes for its own work as well as selling them. Late last year it decided to set up a new sales, service and tower crane installation operation under the E-buildway brand, which will focus purely on crane and equipment distribution across Georgia and Armenia.
Nino Giorgadze of E-buildway said: “Our engineers work closely with customers to find the right crane for their project. Potain is a trusted brand and contractors know they will get quality and reliability. It’s why so many of them are choosing used Potain cranes over new cranes from alternative suppliers.”

Since its inception in late 2016, Buildway has completed 67 construction projects in both Georgia and Armenia, and delivered 84 tower cranes. In the short time since it set up E-buildway the company has sold eight Potain MC 120 cranes.
