New CFO for Manitou

Manitou has appointed Céline Brard as chief financial officer and Hervé Rochet as chief transformation & governance officer.

Brard joins Manitou after almost 25 years with automotive parts and component supplier Valeo, started with the company in 1999 as controller of its plant in Abbeville. Over the years she moved up through various position to become financial director for Valeo Wiper Systems.
While most of her time with Valeo was spent in France, she was based in Tunisia and Morocco for five years and spent two years with the company in Japan. She began her career in 1990 as an external auditor for KPMG, leaving for Valeo nine years later.

She replaces Hervé Rochet who has been corporate secretary and chief financial officer since 2014. He now moves to a new role as chief transformation & governance officer. In this new role he will be responsible for accelerating the groups transformation, addressing digital, human and reputational challenges while ensuring the integrity of its governance framework.

Brard and Rochet will both join the executive committee, which also includes chief executive Michel Denis, Elisabeth Ausimour, president of the Product division, Maxime Deroch, president of the Services & Solutions division, Laurent Bonnaure, executive vice president of Global sales & marketing and Christine Prat, executive vice president of Human Resources.

Michel Denis said: "With the strong growth our group has experienced in recent years, and the ever increasing challenges of sustainability, I have decided to adapt the organisation of our Executive committee to best support our business. This change responds to two needs. Firstly, to strengthen the strategic and financial management of our business in order to structure and support our growth efficiently, and secondly, to accelerate our transformation and that of our stakeholders by anticipating and supporting the changes and needs of our society. This is how we will continue to set the world in motion."
