Italian low level aerial work platform manufacturer Axolift has appointed Lithuanian based powered access sales group Jomasta to distribute its products in the Baltic States and Denmark.
In Lithuania and Latvia, the products will be sold through Jomasta, which is based in Plungė, North West Lithuania, with a location in Vilnius. It also distributes Dinolift, Sinoboom, Platform Basket, Faresin and Safelift in Lithuania.
In Estonia the company operates through its subsidiary SBLifts which also distributes Sinoboom products and in Denmark it has the Sinoboom dealer TRT Maskiner.
Jomasta chief executive Renatas Norvaišas said: “For some time we have seen the growth potential for low level aerial lift products in the markets where our group is active, and decided to add them to our product portfolio. In December we visited the Axolift factory in Italy and where impressed with the production quality, the engineering and most importantly the team behind the company. The fact that besides the existing range the company is working hard on releasing new models this year was another important element for us to continue our discussions and I am happy that we were able to sign the agreement in early February.”
The Axolift products will be displayed at the Resta 2024 exhibition in Lithuania this April and Denmark’s Dansk Liftmesse in May.
Gromet/Axolift group chief executive Massimo Grossele added: “The cooperation with Jomasta in the Baltics and Denmark is another important step in the growth plans for our company. Like us, the Jomasta group is also very dynamic with a high focus on customer service. We are looking forward to the future and to become a leading supplier in their markets.”
Axolift is part of the long established Gromet group, the new brand and product was launched by Massimo Grossele in August 2021 with the manually operated Manulift 200 which works in a similar manner to the Power Tower Peco lift and the battery operated Elift 350, with working heights of four and 4.9 metres respectively.
