Grove for Gräser-Eschbach

German rental company Gräser-Eschbach has taken delivery of two new Grove All Terrain cranes, a 300 tonne GMK6300L-1 and a 250 tonne GMK5250XL-1.

The six axle GMK 6300L-1 is equipped with a seven section 80 metre main boom and can handle 14 tonnes on the full boom at a 14 metre radius. It can also be rigged with 37 metres of luffing extensions, for a maximum tip height of 120 metres.

The hand over


The five axle GMK5250XL-1 features a 78.5 metre eight section main boom plus a 17.8 metre bi-fold swingaway extension that can be extended to 33.8 metres with additional inserts, offering a maximum tip height of 109 metres. With the maximum 80 tonnes of counterweight the crane can handle 9.9 tonnes on the fully extended main boom at a radius of up to 22 metres.
