IPAF AGM and Summit

The IPAF AGM and Summit kicked of at 9:00 this morning with the Annual General Meeting which began with a review of the accounts for 2023, before moving on to re-election of Council and Board members.

As the current IPAF president Karin Nars two year term is up, she handed over the chain of office to Karel Huijser of JLG.

Finally, two awards were presented.

The IPAF President’s Award acknowledging the IPAF team member of the year went to Brazil & Portugal country manager Antonio Barbosa. In the past 10 years he has built a strong IPAF presence in both countries, organised the Elevação Brazil event which attracted 265 delegates this year and saw IPAF PAL cards grow 13% in Brazil and 47% in Portugal.

The Founders award went to Mark Keily of Sunbelt Rentals UK for his work over 12 years promoting safety and chairing the International safety committee since its inception in 2021.
