38m Multitel for Gianfranco Savani

Italian rental company Gianfranco Savani has taken delivery of a 37.5 metre Multitel MJ375 truck mounted platform.

Mounted on a three axle MAN 18 tonne chassis the MJ375, offers a maximum outreach of 25.8 metres with 120kg in the platform, 24.3 metres with 280kg and 20.8 metres with its maximum platform capacity of 500kg. It also includes Multitel’s EVE electronics platform with automatic outrigger and operation sensing system.

The MJ375 joins a number of other Multitels including the 66 metre J365 and 13 metre MX130 which were purchased in 2009, followed by the 19.6 metre MX196, 23.5 metre MX235, 25 metre MX250 and 45 metre MJ450.

The company has also ordered a 60 metre MJ600 which is due to arrive in November.
The MJ375 and MJ450

Established in 1977, Savani is based in Lavariano, Udine, in north eastern Italy, and began as a painting and decorating company. As it won larger jobs it soon started using aerial work platforms and, as is often the case, transitioned into a rental busines. It now runs a substantial fleet of aerial work platforms, inclduding truck mounts and spider lifts. It has operated an IPAF training centre since 2008.
