AFI and Nationwide trainees nominated for awards

Apprentices from the UK’s National Construction College at Bircham Newton celebrated their graduation, yesterday at the annual awards ceremony.

More than 800 people attended the event, including the families and employers of the apprentices. Forty-six apprentices were nominated while 27 of them were presented with awards of achievement.

The award for Plant Mechanics-Access Platforms went to Joe Wickens of Nationwide Access. Darren Cawley and Gareth Cone of AFI were also nominated for this award.
