Zip-Up Svenska took over the Swedish distribution of JLG last year after the manufacturer closed its company store which it announced in January with Zip-Up Svenska launching fully at the Expo show in Stockholm last September.

Zip-Up´s Silvio Azzopardi handed over the first two booms to Magnus Jaasund of Aros Lift and said: “We have been working hard to get on top of the parts and aftersales situation to be able to serve new and former JLG customers in Sweden. Even during difficult times of 2023 and the beginning of 2024 sales have developed very well for us.”

Magnus Jaasund added: “Zip-Up has always served us with high quality products and our new investment shows that we trust what Zip-Up is doing with the JLG brand. Great aftersales service generates trust and more business.”

Based in Västerås, west of Stockholm, Aros lift was established in July 2021, by rental industry veterans Magnus Jaasund and
Christoffer Göransson, who between them had more than 40 years of experience in the business and were previously working together at Herok Rental. More recently they were joined by a third partner in the form of Andreas Brüdigam.

Today the company offers a wide range of platforms, including boom lifts, scissors, trailer lifts, truck mounted and spider lifts, from a number of key suppliers including Skyjack, Niftylift, Ommelift, Genie and it recently took delivery of three new 28 metre Palfinger P280B truck mounted lifts. It also offers Zip-Up scaffold towers.
