Swedish rental company Sven Jinert has taken delivery of its fourth 750 tonne Liebherr LG 1750 mobile lattice crane.
The eight axle LG 1750 has been supplied with Liebherr’s SX3 boom system which Liebherr claims offers 20 percent increased lifting capacities with the ability to work in higher wind speeds. The crane can lift wind turbine components weighing up to 127 tonnes to heights of up to 175 metres. It can also travel with a gross vehicle weight of 96 tonnes/12 tonnes per axle or 48 tonnes with its outriggers removed.
Jinert managing director, Björn Jinert said: “We opted for this mobile lattice boom crane to offer our customers maximum flexibility. We now have two lattice boom cranes on crawlers and two on wheels, among which we can swap and recombine the booms.”
Sven Jinert was founded in 1988 and is based in Hässleholm. It runs a fleet of mobile cranes ranging from 25 to 800 tonnes from 20 different locations in Sweden with a team of 350 employees.
