The first shipment of the 13 tonne 130 CR-130Rv city type All Terrain cranes has arrived in Germany. The orders were placed through Kato distributor, Rivertek.
Three cranes have been delivered in total to Mini & Mobile Cranes Körner and Baumo Kranservice. Though the companies are separate, they work closely together sharing the same yard in Duisburg.
The handover
Kato completed an extensive upgrade of this model in December last year which features a six section 24 metre boom topped by a 3.6 to 5.5 metre hydraulic luffing jib, offsettable by 60 degrees for a maximum tip height of just less than 32 metres. A three tonne searcher hook is also standard equipment.
The crane’s overall length on the road is just under 7.5 metres, with an overall width of 1.99 metres and overall height of 2.87 metres. Total weight is only 13.83 tonnes, split roughly evenly between the two axles.

In 2019, Mini & Mobile Cranes Körner also developed an in-house electric pack for the Kato CR-130 model range which can also be fitted on the new models.
The first batch of the new cranes

Both companies are based in Duisburg, north of Cologne in western Germany.
Baumo runs a fleet of spider and mini crawler cranes, city type and All Terrain cranes as well as scissors, booms and telehandlers. Mini & Mobile Cranes Körner runs a fleet of mini cranes, crawlers and city type cranes as well as forklifts, scissors and booms.
