LGMG’s 35ft articulated 4x4 boom

LGMG will launch a new 35ft compact Rough Terrain articulated boom lift, the AR11J - the AR35J in North America at Intermat next week.

The new lift features a dual sigma type riser, topped by a two section telescopic boom and articulating jib, providing a working height of 12.75 metres, an outreach of 6.78 metres at an up & over height of five metres, with a maximum, unrestricted platform capacity of 270kg.

The machine’s overall width is 1.85 metres, with an overall transport length of 4.46 metres with the jib tucked under which raises the overall stowed height from 2.06 metres to 2.29 metres.
The new machine features a four wheel axle type drive system with an oscillating axle, power comes from a Kubota diesel, and the overall weight is 5,400kg.

The new machine goes head to head with the Genie, Z-34/22 IC and to a slightly lesser extent the JLG 34AJ. Compared to them the LGMG is heavier but has a little more working height and most importantly a significantly better platform capacity. The key specifications can be seen in the chart below.
