Spotted online by one of our regulars a man extending an extension (erection planks) on a transport platform at some considerable height.
We have – sadly – no idea when and where this occurred, but it clearly shows how our man unable to reach the façade to install a second leg of a tie brace. Solution? An old wooden plank probably lying around on site, which he has jammed through the mast and over the narrow façade side platform extension. It certainly works and if the wood is still sound he almost certainly got away with it.
In his favour and to be fair, he is wearing a harness and appears to have fastened it to the other leg of the tie. Not the ideal way to work compounded by the fact that the mast is some distance from the building require tie leg extensions... one wonders how well the work it was being used for went?
