7 Groves for Foselev

French crane and aerial lift rental company Foselev has taken delivery of seven Grove cranes ranging from 60 to 120 tonnes.

They include:
The 60 tonne GMK3060L-1 three axle All Terrain with seven section 48 metre main boom plus an 8.7 to 15 metre bi-fold swingaway extensions for a maximum on board tip height of 65 metres. The crane can also travel with up to 7.5 tonnes of counterweight within 12 tonne axle loadings.

The 100 tonne fpour axle GMK4100L-2 with seven section 60 metre main boom topped with a 9.7 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, with additional eight metre inserts available for a maximum tip height of 89 metres. It can also carry 6.8 tonnes of its 26 tonnes of counterweight onboard within 12 tonne axle limits.

And the five axle 120 tonne GMK5120L featuring a seven section 66 metre main boom, topped by a 9.4 to 16 metres bi-fold swingaway extension with up to 40 degrees of offset for a maximum onboard tip height of 85 metres. An 8.1 metre insert installed between boom nose and swingaway takes that to 93 metres.

Foreslev’s operational director, Eric Stroppiana said: “Grove cranes are one of the foundations of our fleet, we enjoy using them, and we particularly like their variety of long booms and configurations. The cranes can easily put in 1,200 hours a year. The people we work with at Grove are fantastic, and we get excellent customer service. There are over 100 Grove cranes in our fleet, and we expect that number to continue growing.”

Based in the Aix en Provence in Southern France, Foselev operates within the construction, industrial, nuclear and energy sectors in France and internationally. The company runs one of Europe’s largest crane fleets totalling 450 units,with a 100 of those being from Grove.
