Entrapment fatality Queensland

We missed a fatal scissor lift entrapment incident earlier this month in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

A man using a scissor lift at the Coomera Anglican College in Upper Coomera - on the north side of Gold Coast - was crushed between the scissor lifts controls/guardrail and the ceiling on Monday July 1st .

The man was working for Insite Construction which is building a new Innovations centre at the college. When the emergency services arrived the man had already freed from the entrapment and but was very severely injured and they were unable to save his life. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
