Eazi Access Jo'Burg raises R60k

The Johannesburg team of South African sales and rental company Eazi Access has raised R60,000 (€3,000) for St Janes Chantel home for children just in time to celebrate Mandela Day, with team members visiting a number of the charities that they support.

St Janes Chantel home – located north of Johannesburg - is a non-profit institution taking care of HIV positive and abandoned children. They mostly arrive at the home undernourished and often traumatised. The home provides them with food, shelter, education and basic medical care, in a loving family environment. The home looks after a range of children ranging from six month old babies to teenagers of up to 15.The team members were given a tour of the facility to learn more about the programmes and projects provided at the facility.

Mandela Day is held on July 18th, Nelson Mandela’s birthdate, in honour of all he achieved and all those he inspired. He is quoted as saying: “It is in your hands, to make a better world for all who live in it.”

Eazi Access’ communications manager, Tralone Lindiwe Khoza said: “Eazi Access celebrates its 21st Birthday this year and it is important to recognise that this milestone would not have been possible without the incredible communities which we operate within. We look forward to continuing to contribute to those in need.”
