Italian aerial lift manufacturer Cela has completed the relocation to its new 32,000 square metre plant in Castegnato, east of Milan, giving it the capacity to produce 1,000 machines a year.
The new plant is 12 kilometres from its previous facility and includes two 9,800 square metre production halls plus office space of 1,800 square metres and an outdoor area of 10,500 square metres.
Chief executive Paolo Troni said: "our new plant is not just a physical move, it is a significant step to better serve our customers and the industry. It enables us to further improve and increase the quality of our products and services. In addition, a wider range is also to be offered.”
The new plant, not only provides more capacity, to meet growing demand, but also brings production of all of its truck mounted platforms, spider lifts and fire service equipment including ladders and aerial lifts. Under one roof.
