UK steelwork specialists SDM Fabrication has taken delivery of its third Liebherr crane, a 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain.
The three axle LTM 1060-3.1 crane is equipped with a six section 48 metre boom, topped by a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension which takes the maximum tip height to more than 67 metres, while also offering up to 40 degrees of offset. The crane can carry all its 12.8 tonnes of counterweight within the UK’s STGO regulations which allows axle loads of up to 16.5 tonnes.

SDM’s managing director Richard Melton said: “We cannot commend enough the Liebherr product and the accompanying support, as we look to develop and renew our lifting capabilities the attention to detail and quality is in our opinion second to none, we very much look forward to more new arrivals in the near future.”
Based in March, Cambridgeshire, SDM specialises in the design, fabrication and installation of structural steelwork for UK projects.
