Taiwanese Rental company Fu Yifa has taken delivery of its first Grove All Terrain crane, a 250 tonne GMK5250XL-1 from Shing Tse International supported by Manitowoc dealer Champion Auto.
The five axle crane features an eight section 78.5 metre main boom topped by an 18 metre bi-fold swingaway extension that can be extended to 34 metres with additional inserts. Features include Grove’s MAXbase variable outrigger setup and all-wheel steering. Power comes from a single HVO ready Stage V Mercedes diesel which is said to offer a 30 percent reduction in fuel consumption compared to previous power units. The crane will be used for tower crane assembly, boat handling duties and various industrial and construction projects.
Luo Yong-Fong owner of Fu Yifa said: “We are proud to welcome our first Grove crane and the GMK5250XL-1 is an excellent model. It has performed perfectly since we took delivery. Our company’s reputation is built on innovation and operational excellence, and with the reliability and performance of the GMK5250XL-1 we can continue to deliver on our promises to customers. We’re looking forward to putting the crane to work across a diverse range of projects.”
Based in southern Taiwan, the company was established 20 years ago offering lifting and transportation services.
