Austrian rental company Flott Arbeitsbühnen has joined Partner Lift, the German association of independent rental companies.
Based near Graz, southern Austria, the company runs a fleet of truck mounted lifts, booms, scissor lifts, fork trucks and material lifts as well as being an accredited IPAF training centre.
20 years ago, company founder Otto Stroißnigg began with a single Wumag WT 260 telescopic truck mounted lift. Today, the company runs a fleet of more than 90 platforms.
Managing director Bernd Stroißnigg said: "I have liked the idea behind Partner Lift for a long time. The independence is 100 percent preserved and at the same time you benefit from a strong and experienced network from the industry.”
Ralf Gärtner, Partner Lifts network manager added: “In the course of the first discussions, we came up with the idea of building and expanding the Partner Lift network in Austria together. Because the offers and services we provide our German partners are also interesting for many Austria companies. Whether joint purchasing, mutual rental or networking events, ultimately everyone benefits from membership.”
"Together we hope to attract more members in Austria for our network and establish our idea of the network in Austria. Of course, we are very happy that Bernd supports us with his numerous contacts. It is not the number of companies that is decisive for us, but that people want to join and actively participate in the network."
Partner Lift membership now numbers 150 companies across Germany, with a combined fleet of more than 15,000 machines. The network has also expanded into Switzerland, Ireland, Poland, and now Austria.
