Goodwood supercar lifts

UK crane and access rental company Southern Cranes & Access used a Modulift CMOD 24 four point spreader frame to lift the supercars on display at this year's Goodwood festival of Speed in West Sussex.

Southern chose the Modulift CMOD 24 due to its ability to handle loads with multiple lifting points, with capacity of up to 30 tonnes.

Sarah Spivey, managing director of Modulift said: “The CMOD is one of our most popular products and is an extension of the original MOD spreader beam. Customers who already have MOD struts can simply add corner units to make the four point CMOD frame. The CMOD can also be combined with T-Pieces to make a six or eight point CMOD Spreader Frame.”

One of the cars lifted into position was the all-electric Rolls-Royce Spectre, the model features a two tone peony pearl with black diamond finish, 23 inch wheels, and an interior with nearly 5,000 illuminated ‘stars’ to create a 'celestial ambiance'.
