Multitel to go direct in Spain

Italian truck mounted and spider lift manufacturer Multitel has opened its own sales and service operation in Spain.

The new subsidiary - Multitel Ibérica - is based in Barcelona and will handle new and used machine sales along with after sales service and spare parts supply. The new operation, which takes over from independent distributor Transgruas, with which it has worked for the past seven years, will hold inventories of replacement parts, and new machines ready for immediate delivery.

Spain is the fifth largest truck mounted lift market in Europe, and the move follows Multitel’s ongoing strategy to set up its own operations in larger markets, and follows Multitel France which opened in 1989, Germany in 2012 and the UK in 2019.

Global marketing and international sales director Roberto Marangoni said: “The new branch will fully reflect the Multitel Pagliero style and policy established in recent years, in support of a strategy that includes models designed specifically for the Spanish market and a local stock of machines, along with the provision of all the support services. It will also bring us closer to the customer.”
