Lift Minicranes fleet expansion

UK based Lift Minicranes has expanded its fleet with several new spider cranes, mainly from Maeda, along with one from BG Lift.

The additions include two 2.8 tonne Maeda MK3053-C spider cranes, two 1.7 tonne MC174 and two 2.98 tonne lithium battery powered MK3053C-Ecos.The 305 is rated at 2.5 metres, and featrues a 12.5 metre five section main boom, with a maximum tip height of 13.5 metres at which point it handle 790kg at a radius of around 4.5 metres. Maximum radius is 1.16 metres, with the boom horizontal 260kg of capacity. Overall width is 1.28 metres, and the overall length just under 4.2 metres, with a stowed height of just under 1.7 metres. The Lithium Titanate battery pack is said to be good for five hours, intense use, but can be plugged in while operating.

The company has also taken took delivery of a 2.5 tonne BG Lift M250 from GGR. The M250 features a four section boom with a maximum tip height of 10.6 metres, at which point it can handle 1,250kg. Maximum radius on the main boom is 8.4 metres with a capacity of 470kg. A three section jib is also available taking the maximum tip height to 15.5 metres with a capacity of 650kg. The maximum radius with jib is 12.9 metres with the boom and jib horizontal, at which point it can handle up to 150kg. Overall length is 3.5 metres, with an overall stowed width of 780mm, while total weight is 2,250kg.

Technical manager Kevin Concepcion said: "We are constantly updating and extending our range of spider cranes with the focus on Eco Spider cranes and battery powered equipment, and more versatile options for the customer base.”
