Mutitel recruits Spanish team

Italian truck mount and spider lift manufacturer Multitel has recruited three vehicle mounted platform veterans for its new Spanish subsidiary, Multitel Iberica, which is opening in Barcelona.

All three men have joined Multitel from local competitor Movex, now part of the Versalift/Time group. They are: Xavier Vega Basquens, who becomes sales manager for Spain and Portugal, Juan Jose Carretero Serrano, who assumes the role of after sales service coordinator and Jose Serafin Prieto Martin who will provide the technical assistance in both the workshop and the field.

Xavier Vega joins the company after 23 years as sales and after sales manager at Movex. He began his career in 1998 with construction company Ediftec Cardedeu, leaving for Movex in 2001.

Juan Jose Carretero Serrano has worked for Movex for the past 16 years, while his colleague Jose Serafin Prieto Martin has spent the past 40 years with the company.

Speaking of the move to Multitel Xavier Vega said: “ I have found the same values at Multitel Pagliero as we saw at Movex, the two companies are both family run and have always had good relations.”
