Taiwanese rental company Chi Deh Crane Engineering has taken delivery of a 104 metre Bronto S104HLA truck mounted platform.
The new machine - purchased through Bronto dealer, Firm Power - is mounted on a six axle Scania chassis and has a working height of 104 metres with a maximum outreach of 33 metres at an up & over height of 17 metres, or 25 metres outreach at an up & over height of 63 metres. Maximum capacity is 700kg.
Chi Deh chief executive Hu Hanyan also known as the ‘crane king of Zhubei’ visited the Bronto plant in Tampere, Finland, to see the lift and put it through its paces.
Speaking of his decision to take the Bronto Hanyan said: “The Bronto quality is very good, nearly 95 fire departments in Taiwan use this brand of platform.”
The lift will be deployed in the city of Hsinchu and used for a variety of applications, including petrochemical, wind energy, infrastructure, and civil engineering projects.
Established in 1975 and based in the city of Taichung, the company runs a fleet of Rough Terrain and All Terrain cranes as well as crawlers and tower cranes and a fleet of self-propelled and truck mounted work platforms.
