UK based KC Machine Movers has taken delivery of a 2.5 tonne Valla 25E pick & carry crane - its second Valla to join its fleet - from official distributor Hird.
The compact 25E can pick & carry its maximum capacity and yet has a gross vehicle weight of just 2,300kg. The unit has an overall length of 2.2 metres, an overall width of 950mm and an overall height of 1.8 metres.
Graham Unsworth, operations manager said: “The build quality of the Valla 25E was the best we saw and it had the best useability, in terms of the wide variety of lifting and machinery moving tasks we need to carry out.”
“The affordability of the mini crane was there and we also already have a good relationship with Hird and they’re well placed to provide us with good on-going service and maintenance support.”

KC took the optional manual jib to support lifting in particularly confined locations and with limited overhead space. It joins a 12 tonne Valla, 120E, which helps with dismantling and installing smaller items of machinery.
KC Machine Movers, based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, specialises in machinery removal and installation, primarily serving the pharmaceutical, steel and forging industries, as well as EV charging installation.
