Irish rental company Global Hire has taken delivery of 69 Sunward slab electric scissor lifts with working heights from six to 14 metres.
The order - made through Irish dealer Rushall Plant Services - includes 23 of the 15ft SWSL0607DCs, 17 of the 20ft SWSL0807DCs, five 24ft SWSL1008DCs, 11 of the 32ft SWSL1212DCs and 13 of the 40ft SWSL1412DCs.
The new lifts are primarily aimed at electricians, fabrication companies, carpentry and ceiling work.
Global senior hire manager Keith Kenna said: "We haven't had any problems. Despite this, the service we are getting from the dealer is second to none. He is always on the end of the phone or email to help us out."
Rushall Plant was appointed as a dealer in 2019 after managing director Kevin Flanagan met the manufacturer at Bauma in Munich. He said: "I had previously heard of Sunward and was interested in the machines. I had worked in construction all over Ireland, on the new M7 motorway at the time, so my customers are customers from those days as well as new ones. Many others are people using the machines for their own use, farmers, utilities, civil engineering and construction, even grave diggers! And now a hire company. It's great to get the deal with Global Hire. They are an up and coming company and we are hoping to do another deal in the near future."
Global Hire, is based in County Laois in central Ireland, and offers a range or equipment, including aerial work platforms, excavators and generators.
