Skyjack is launching its range of direct electric drive ‘EDrive’ scissor lifts and its new electric Rough Terrain articulated boom range in Asia today.
The units will make their debut at Bauma China which opens today in Shanghai.
The new models provide smoother proportional control, longer duty cycles and are quieter in operation together with consistent power, traction and torque, gradeability and braking. The new booms were launched in Europe this summer. See: Skyjack booms go electric
Skyjack vice president of Asia-Pacific operations Chan Tran said: “We know how important run time is to our customers. A longer run time per charge, plus fewer lifetime charge cycles, means that our customers will spend less on batteries over the life of the machine.”
President Charlie Patterson added: “We’re excited to continue our new E-Drive rollout across Asia Pacific. With significant reductions in cost of ownership, we have a truly competitive offering for the region. In addition to our classic simply reliable ethos, the new E-Drive machines will see our customers getting more done for less while also having an eye towards meaningful sustainability improvements.”
