US based Oz Lifting Products is celebrating 20 years in business and gearing up to move to its new 3,700 square metre facility.
The five acre plot - on Innovation Drive in Winoa - is four times larger than the current building and will house its 25 employees, which has grown from two since the company was established in 2004.

president Steve Napieralski said: “The new space will provide us with ample room for growth, including increased storage, more advanced testing capabilities, and the potential to expand our manufacturing operations.”

“We have come a long way. I started in the lifting industry in 1988, working for an equipment manufacturer before opening my first business in 1995, which was a manufacturer representative company, specialising in the lifting and rigging business.”

“Prior to launching Oz, I was nine years into my rep business, uneasy about the 30 day contracts. I knew I had strong relationships with all the distributors that I called on, so I thought, why not leverage them? I was fortunate to meet two Australians that were looking for a US exclusive distributor of their hoist equipment.”
Headquartered in Winona, Minnesota, Oz Lifting manufactures lifting products and solutions operating within construction, oil & gas, aviation and mining.
