40t for PP Engineering

UK based PP Engineering has taken delivery of a 40 tonne Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 All Terrain crane.

The two axle LTM 1040-2.1 has a four section, 35 metre full power main boom which can handle 7.4 tonnes at full extension or take 1.1 tonnes out to its maximum radius of 31 metres. A 9.5 metre swingaway extension takes the maximum tip height to almost 44 metres.

PP Engineering’s senior partner Susan Patching said: “We are delighted to welcome another LTM 1040-2.1 to our fleet. With its proven track record as the best two axle All Terrain on the market, the unit will allow us to continue to provide the reliable service our customers are used to receiving.”

PP Engineering was established in 1980 and is based in Rotherham, northern England. It runs a fleet of All Terrain and pick & carry cranes, topped by a 220 tonne Tadano ATF 220G-5.
