New triple boom crane
JMG has launched a new 15 tonne all electric pick & carry crane with three interchangeable booms - the MC100-08. As with larger JMG cranes, the MC100-08 has a telescopic extendable chassis for an improved load chart without adding counterweight.

JMG’s new MC100—08 has three interchangeable boom options
The boom options include two three section booms – a long and a short, and one very short two section option. The long three section boom has a lift/tip height of 10.3 metres at which point it has a capacity of 10 tonnes. Maximum radius is six metres with boom horizontal at which point it can handle 3.1 tonnes.

The shorter three section boom has a maximum lift height of just over eight metres with 12 tonnes capacity, while maximum radius is four metres with five tonnes of capacity.
Finally, the two section boom is best suited for use with the fork attachment – which can be installed on all three booms. In crane or forklift mode the two section boom, has a maximum lift height of 6.3 metres with 14 tonnes on the hook or close in to the carriage on the forks.

The crane has overall width of 1.6 metres, the overall height is just over two metres, while the overall length is 3.49 with the shorter three section boom and 4.49 metres with the longer boom. The overall length of the chassis is 4.29 metres when extended and 3.49 metres retracted. Overall weight is 15.1 tonnes with the short three section boom, this can be lowered by removing the two counterweights weighting 1.6 tonne and 1.4 tonnes respectively – three tonnes in total.
