LGP acquires F&B

Los Angeles – Bell Gardens - based LGP Equipment Rentals has acquired F&B Rentals of Santa Anna – south of Anaheim, from Rob and Jessica Shipley.

F&B was founded by Fran Ehrick in 1975, the company merged with Orange based AAA Rental in 2009. The company now operates from three locations and offers a wide range of equipment and tools etc… Its aerial lift fleet includes equipment from NiftyLift, SkyJack and Genie, with telehandlers from Genie and Barretto.

The Shipleys along with general manager Alberto Pianelli will stay on board to help manage the transition.

LGP owner Luis Gutierrez said: “When our family was presented with this opportunity, we knew it would be an excellent fit with our existing network and its potential as a strong entry point into Orange County. F&B has been in business for 50 years and we look forward to building on this legacy and adding to the continued growth and success of LGP.”

F&B’s Rob Shipley added: “LGP’s acquisition of our third generation company will ensure that our customers will be in good hands going forward.”
