The Falcon returns

Danish spider lift manufacturer Falcon reopened its doors earlier today having completed a restructuring process that has put it back on a solid financial footing.

The vast majority of the team has already returned to work, including majority owner Thyge Mikkelsen and the ‘face’ of Falcon’s sales efforts Brian Falck Schmidt.
The new business has purchased the company’s assets and signed a new lease for the production facilities, with most of the staff returning this morning. The mood at the company and among its key distributors is happy and optimistic, although the management team says that it has a lot of work to do to catch up after the two month hiatus. Falcon entered administration in late December.

Speaking to Vertikal.net this evening Brian Falck Schmidt said: We are all very happy to be back and in a position to support and work with our customers and suppliers, most of whom have been really supportive as we worked through this challenging and unfortunate process which has been a truly humbling experience.”

“I think I can speak on behalf of all of us who work here at Falcon, when I say that while this is a very happy day for us, our number one aim now is to focus all of our time and effort on catching up with those things that might have slipped over the past two months, and winning back the full confidence of all those we work with.”
