UK based Flegg Projects has formed a partnership with US based distributor Forklift Exchange to sell and service heavy lift extending forklifts in Europe. The products include units manufactured by Hoist Liftruck and Royal.
Flegg has operated run Forklift Exchange units in its rental fleet for several years but will now offer the Hoist FR series focusing on the 11 to 16 tonne 25/35, the 18 to 27 tonne 40/60 and the 27 to 36 tonne 60/80 models as well as units built by Illinois based Royal Rig-N-Lift, which has only recently restarted production of the 80/100 and 100/140 models. The agreement is aimed substantially reducing lead times while providing a local parts and service support.

Flegg's managing director Jayson Flegg said: "We are very excited to announce our collaboration with Forklift Exchange, which will offer increased capabilities and services to customers."

As part of the arrangement Flegg will recruit additional staff, at its base in Aylesbury while expanding its training and workshop facilities.
