UK based rental company E.J. McGovern Crane Hire has taken delivery of a six tonne Böcker AK46/6000 aluminium boomed truck crane.

The AK46/6000 is mounted on a three axle features a four section main boom plus three section upper boom/luffing jib, providing a maximum tip height of 44 metres with a two metre manual extension to take it to 46 metres with a capacity of 400kg. The crane has already completed its first job in Nottingham installing roof sheets.

Director Kieran McGovern said: “We believe that adding the Böcker crane will allow us to diversify our fleet offering to current clients and open up options for new clients. The good news doesn’t stop there as later in the year we will be updating the AK46 with the new AK48 which will come with a whole range of benefits but we will talk more about that when the new-new arrival is here!”
Established in 1995, McGovern operates a fleet of All Terrains from 50 to 250 tonnes as well as tower cranes, city cranes and spier cranes from its depot in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
