First of Four for Crowland

UK based Crowland Cranes has taken delivery of a 90 tonne Liebherr LTM 1090-4.2 All Terrain crane, the first of four new Liebherr cranes scheduled for delivery this year.

The four axle LTM 1090-4.2 features a 60 metre main boom plus a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with manual offset to offer a maximum tip height of just under 80 metres. Features include Liebherr’s VarioBase variable outrigger setup and remote control system, along with Ecodrive and Ecomode systems, which help improve fuel consumption, while reducing emissions and noise.

Managing director Pete Issitt said: “Adding the fourth LTM 1090-4.2 was once again, a very simple choice for our rental fleet. The LTM 1090-4.2 has proven to be a well utilised crane within our fleet, supporting our clients throughout East Anglia with the only 100 tonne machine in the four axle class to carry a full complement of UK counterweight, enabling us to remain competitive and in turn providing our clients with a cost effective solution.”

Last year the company took delivery of three Liebherr's including a 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1, a 40 tonne LTM 1040-2.1, and another 90 tonne LTM 1090-4.2 which was displayed at Vertikal Days last year outside of the My Future My Choice stand.
