New plant manager at Atlas

German crane and excavator manufacturer Atlas has promoted Reinhold Hammersen to plant manager of its Vechta facility in Germany. He has been working at Atlas for more than 30 years, and has been production manager since 2022.

In his new role, he will focus on performance improvements and product development at the plant which manufactures hydraulic cylinders, fabrications, and loader crane attachments.

Atlas chief executive Brahim Stitou said: “In our constant effort to increase our performance, accelerate further developments and satisfy our customers, we are confident that Mr. Hammersen will make a valuable contribution to the company's success and, in close cooperation with management and the workforce, will help to further advance Atlas.”
