The eight axle LG 1750 has been updated over the years to meet wind turbine erection requirements with the SX/ SX2 boom configurations and heavy duty jib which provides high capacities at hook heights of up to 175 metres. Maximum tip height with the optional luffing jib is 200 metres. Other capacities that make it an increasingly popular crane for lifting wind turbine components, include 400 tonnes at a 20 metre radius and up to 105 tonnes at a 165 metre hook height and 34 metre radius.

Managing director Napoleão Luna said: "The demand for large cranes over 500 tonnes has long since been an issue for us. Our customers were increasingly asking for powerful machinery for complex projects such as in wind energy. Following comprehensive technical and economic considerations, we chose the LG 1750 as it offers reliability, safety and exceptional performance. This crane now means we are able to offer our customers first-class solutions in new sectors."

Founded in 1987, Transnacional’s headquarters are in Fortaleza, Ceará, North East Brazil.
