The UK's association of independently owned regional rental companies, the Access Alliance, recently held a meeting for hire desk controllers/dispatchers in Nottingham.
The meeting facilitated face to face interaction between key staff at member companies who regularly communicate remotely as part of their daily operations.

Access Alliance chairman Mike Webb said: "These meetings are really important for the Access Alliance, as members' hire desks are constantly in contact with each other. It makes a big difference when people can put a face to a name. Not only do they support one another with cross hire contracts, but they also work together to help us deliver high quality machines and service to national customers right across the UK."
The organisation boasts a combined membership fleet of 18,000 machines across 76 locations.
