Tadano takes over Valla sales in DACH

Tadano has taken over the sales, service and spare parts supply for Valla industrial pick & carry cranes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland following the completion of its acquisition of Valla owner Manitex in January.

Tadano sales manager Frank Brachtendorf said: "We are very proud to be able to offer our customers all the services related to these high quality industrial cranes. This brings us another important step closer to our claim to offer complete lifting solutions for all applications."

A Valla pick & carry crane

Valla chief executive Paolo Balugani added: "I am pleased about the rapid implementation of this move in sales and service. Tadano has an excellent and committed team in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The cooperation has been working excellently since the beginning of the year and has already brought the first successes at Bauma."

Valla cranes will however continue to be manufactured at the Valla plant in Italy.
