Multitel expands technical office

Italian aerial platform manufacturer Multitel Pagliero has restructured its engineering technical office with the appointment of Giacomo Bolla as technical office manager and a redesigned workspace.
Giacomo Bolla

Bolla began his career in 2015 as a structural engineer with software development company EnginSoft, moving to mechanical engineering company Bottero as structural calculation specialist in 2018. He progressed to technical project manager before leaving in 2021 for manufacturing company Geatop Metrology. After a year at Geatop, he returned to Bottero as mechanical design manager, remaining there until joining Multitel earlier this year.

Bolla will work alongside technical director Roberto Bramardo and be responsible for team management and project monitoring.

Bramardo said: "The arrival of Bolla marks a key step in the growth of our technical office. His managerial experience complements my technical vision, creating a synergy that allows us to tackle design and organisational challenges more effectively.”
The renovated work space

The technical office has also been renovated, replacing partition walls with glass surfaces and arranging workstations in functional islands which the company says is to encourage collaboration. The office is now divided into mechanical technical office and electrical & software technical office sections.

The 30 person team is split evenly between both departments. Four new engineers joined in the past 12 months, while several team members have transferred from production.
