UK equipment rental company Speedy Hire has announced a charity partnership with Prostate Cancer UK to raise awareness of prostate cancer across the construction and rental industries.
The campaign following Men's Health Week aims to address the disease which affects one in eight men in the UK, with over 85 percent of thoe employed in construction related copmanies, being male.

The campaign includes site visits, depot visits and attendance at large events, featuring awareness activities, fundraising through merchandise sales and competitions. A national prize draw also offers a 2025 Ford Transit Custom van as the main prize.
Speedy Hire health and safety director Andy Johnson said: "This partnership reflects our commitment to protecting and promoting the wellbeing of our colleagues, customers and communities. Prostate cancer affects thousands of families every year, many from the construction sector. But it's not just about men, it's about the people who love and care for them."
