Finnish truck mounted lift manufacturer Bronto, has opened a new service centre near Rhome, to the north of Fort Worth, Texas.
The 2,950 square metre green field facility is located on an 8.5 acre plot and will fitted out with all the equipment required to mount and install platforms on local chassis as well as carry out major overhauls and repairs, in addition to providing the usual service roles such a routine maintenance. The facility will also include a training centre and parts inventory.
The contract for the newly built facility, which is located alongside Highway 114, and just 15 minutes from Interstate 35W into Dallas Fort Worth, has been signed and modifications to the premises are already underway and should be completed in a couple of months or so, allowing operations at the new location to get underway before the end of the year. The plan is for the new location to replace the current Bronto service centre in Orlando, Florida, which is expected to close early in the new year.
Services vice president Teemu Lintula said: “We are excited to strengthen our presence in the North American market, helping to ensure that we continue to meet the demands of our growing customer base in the region. The new Service Centre will allow us to serve our customers better and provide them with the high quality support they deserve. Together with our dealers and service partners we are committed to investing in our local infrastructure."
