In his new role he will be based at the company’s new offices in Riyadh and report to the general manager of Raimondi Middle East Wael Hasan. His responsibilities will include developing a fully operational local branch, enhancing the after sales service, and forging long term partnerships with local contractors and developers. There are around 100 Raimondi cranes currently working in the Kingdom.
Ahmad Shakkour
Shakkour joins the company after three and a half years with equipment rental company REC – Rental Equipment Company - a division of Saudi company CPC which has a rental fleet that includes tower cranes. He began his crane career in 2010 as a service engineer with UK based Roots Group – which works mostly in the Middle East and North Africa. In the begining most of his duties involved the installation and commissioning of Wolff tower cranes. Over the next nine years he took on increasingly senior roles to become service manager for Saudi Arabia. In 2019 he moved to Liebherr Middle East in Dubai but left for REC at the end of that year.
