Haulotte’s German distribution business Haulotte Hubarbeitsbühnen has signed a new partnership agreement with German forklift co-operative Stapler Plus eG.
Stapler Plus was set up in 2003 as a collective of 12 local forklift sales and rental companies/dealers. Based in Bergneustadt - east of Cologne - it now has 32 members with 48 locations in Germany and three in Austria, with around 2,200 rental machines, 400 service technicians and a combined new and used sales inventory of almost 3,000 units.
The aim of the co-operative is to combine buying power, support customers that have a national requirement, and jointly market their used equipment. Along the way telehandlers were added to the product line, and now aerial work platforms. It also developed the online site ‘Clickforlift’. The partnership with Haulotte also covers sales, joint marketing initiatives, training and technical support.
Stapler Plus chairman Götz Müller said: “With Haulotte, we welcome a renowned partner who shares our values and supports our vision: to offer our customers the best solutions on the market.”
