New manager for AER

UK based/Irish owned, rental group AER Rents has promoted Benerice Bondjanga to digital marketing manager.

She joined the company in April 2022 as a marketing executive at the MPH - Mr Plant Hire subsidiary. She began her marketing career in 2015 as a digital marketing assistant at telecom company BT. A year and a half later, she moved to a similar role at architecture and planning firm Detailed Planning, leaving for website design company ShyFish Designs in 2017, where she was appointed as a website developer and search engine optimisation (SEO) manager. In 2020, she joined the not for profit membership organisation Onvero, which aims to help employers with diversity and inclusivity in their operations. Leaving for Mr Plant Hire two years later.

AER Rents said: “Since joining Mr Plant Hire in 2022, Benerice has played a key role in rebranding, managing social media and email marketing across the AER group.”

AER Rents was set up in late 2014 by family owned Irish company O’Flaherty Holdings (owner of Time/Versalift until 2017), specifically to acquire Mr Plant Hire. In 2020 it set out on an acquisition spree, acquiring Drogheda Hire & Sales and Mainline Hire group, adding Welfare 4 Hire in 2021 and news [39921](Chippindale Plant in 2022), followed by Hudson Lifting in 2023.
