German rental company Beyer Mietservice has purchased 58 Manitou telehandlers, a combination of 360 degree and Heavy Duty models, Manitou’s largest order this year.
The bulk of the new telehandlers were delivered last week
The package includes 55 MRT 360 degree models - 40 units of the 26 metre/6,000kg MRT 2660 and 15 of tthe 30 metre/5,000kg MRT 3060s, along with three MHT high capacity heavy duty straight frame models, two 10 metre/16 tonne MHT 10-160, and a 10 metre/20 tonne MHT 10-200. Beyer also ordered a range of attachments to go with the new machines, including load hooks, hydraulic winches and aerial work platforms.
(L-R) Peter Wildemann of Manitou with Dieter Beyer and Simon Rath of Manitou The order was placed at Bauma earlier this year, with most of the units handed over at Beyer's facility in Etzbach last week, the last of the units will arrive early next year.
The new machines
Beyer managing director Dieter Beyer said: “It is our aim to provide our customers with premium machines that are technologically advanced, while offering the highest performance and safety levels. This latest order is an indication of the strength of our partnership with Manitou.”
Founded in 1994, Beyer is managed by founder Dieter Beyer and runs a fleet of more than 7,500 machines, including aerial work platforms, telehandlers, spider cranes, pick & carry cranes, excavators, wheel loaders and forklifts.
