22 Groves for Maxikraft

German crane rental, heavy lift and heavy transport group Maxikraft has ordered 22 three, four and five axle Grove GMK All Terrain cranes.

The units ordered run from the 60 tonne GMK 3060-2, to the five axle 250 tonne GMK5250L-1. The order was placed with Manitowoc and its local distributor, KranAgentur Werner, which will also provide support, with deliveries starting now and scheduled throughout the rest of this year.

Andreas Werner of KranAgentur Werner said: “We would like to thank Maik Kanitzky and his team for the renewed trust they have placed in us and the latest cranes from Grove.”
Most of the new order will be four and five axle models

Founded in February 1992 by Maik Kanitzky in Züllsdorf/Herzberg, Brandenburg, MaxiKraft opened five branches in its first seven years and has since expanded to five companies following the establishment of MaxiMum in 2000, Kranlogistik Sachsen in 2002, Kranlogistik Lausitz in 2004 and Treffler in 2019. It now operates from 26 locations with a team of 500 employees.

Vertikal Comment

Maxikraft is in expansion mode, adding new cranes across its range in the past year or two, it has largely been taking Liebherr's, and took its 1,000th Liebherr late last year. Its fleet does, though, include a substantial number of Grove All Terrain cranes.
