UK sales manager for Böcker

Böcker UK has appointed Callum Dunbar as sales manager. He started with the company a few weeks ago, but is now 'getting to grips' with his new job. He joins the company from parts and components distributor Shaftec Automotive, where he has been after-sales manager for the past year or so.
His brief is to step up sales by spreading the word on lightweight, long reach truck cranes, while supporting existing customers who have already seen the light.

Dunbar began his career in 2012 as a fabrication engineer with equipment distributor TH White. Five years later, he was transferred to the Palfinger loader crane distribution division in a sales support role, just before the company (acquired the Palfinger dealer for Scotland - Outreach Truck,) and rebranded the merged business as Palfinger UK. Two years later, he was promoted to area sales manager. Five years later, he tried his hand with a new company and a new industry with conveyor belt maintenance and supply company Rema Tip Tip Industry UK, leaving after a year for Shaftec. The job with Böcker brings him back to his roots and the lifting industry.

Böcker UK managing director Jake McCaugherty said: “Callum’s appointment marks an exciting chapter for Böcker UK. His extensive experience and proven track record in the crane sector will help us strengthen our position in the UK and broaden our customer base with our range of innovative lifting technology products.”

Dunbar added: “I’m thrilled to join Böcker UK and contribute to the company’s ambitious growth plans. Böcker’s reputation for quality and innovation is second to none, and I look forward to working closely with our customers to deliver products that exceed expectations.”
